Thank you for visting my site. I am an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Lee's Summit School District just outside Kansas City, Missouri.  My education experience began teaching elementary school and now teaching teachers how to successfully infuse technology with their instruction to provide meaningful learning experiences for students. I have experience with interactive whiteboards, student response systems, social media tools for education such as Diigo, Facebook, Twitter, Google Apps, Google+, blogging, and many other online tools for educational use.

I want to help teachers learn tools and strategies that will engage today’s student, differentiate instruction, and promote creativity and critical thinking. I want to help teachers not feel intimidated by technology, but to gradually embrace it and feel more confident using it by providing continual support. I provide well-planned, engaging professional development.

In January 2009, I co-authored Integrating Technology with Music Instruction, which was published by Alfred Publishing in Van Nuys, CA.
